And here’s my latest creation for B.. A.. B.. Y (lol). As soon as I saw that the ‘Ducks in a Row’ accents were double-sided, its just screamed baby mobile to me (maybe its got something to do with my childcare background???).
I took a couple of photos of it so you could see all the elements. I’m sooo happy with it.
A FUNNY STORY
I finished it 2 days ago and hung it above the rocking chair from a shelf, just so I could photograph it the next morning. Anyway, I was rocking my little girl off to sleep (well trying) but she kept lifting her head back which I thought was rather strange until my eldest daughter called out ‘ hey look, she’s looking at the mobile Mummy‘. I had temporarily forgotten about it being there but she has noticed it and although SO tired she could hardly keep her eyes open, she was lifting her head to try and see it. I was secretly thrilled that she loved it so much – a success.
I am much happier with these layouts than some I did last week. And yes, they are more GIRL ones, but I promise next week, I’ll try to do some BOY ones. (I do love scrapping my girls).
These use the new BG Lemonade pps.
I just love the colours of this one.
Pulled out some old Fancy Pants 12×12 chipboard for this one.
ANNA’S NEW DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS are:
Wendy Smith and Georgia Keays – a BIG congratulations girls!!! I love their work. Both girls have a more collage-type style than me, which is great. Now we have such a complete team with all different styles. GREAT CHOICE ANNA!
Speaking of Anna’s, have you seen the new Scrap FX chipboard just in….darn, my order has just been shipped….love those trees!!!
Perfect for a peach farm (I know they’re cherries but they look like peaches…shhh).
Ok, so I’m slowly getting my mojo back (sometimes I try too hard I think cos these next pages just came together more easily).
I thought this would make a nice baby boy page using October Afternoon Ducks in a Row papers.
I added a page to this one to make it a double using some old BG Lilykate Queen Anne paper.
Our little bird watcher.
This one’s a crack up – it was the only picture I could get because she took off hiding when she realised that I was trying to get a picture, but I just had to do a page to show her when she’s older (ha ha ha).
Oh…. and here’s my sneak peak of the double page layout for the SM Masters competition……yes, I did enter afterall. My package left yesterday (express post, of course) but I doubt I’ll win a spot, but at least I made the effort. There’s so much talent out there now.
Been busy trying to scrap while baby sleeps (trying being the operative word). Feel like I’ve lost my mojo this week.
This one is using the new Fancy Pants Kraft Kuts.
Not all that thrilled with this one….. (sigh)
But I like how this one turned out. It uses some really old Lil Davis chipboard that I’d been saving for such an occassion, and some BG Bittersweet papers.
Annas Craft Cupboard gets some great stuff in. Aren’t these new Paper Company stamps just adorable.
Speaking of yummy – I took some photos of my littlest squirt this week and I’ve just got to share them. I think she’s really cute (but you know…I’m biased). Can’t wait to scrap them once I have them printed.
Its a shame I cut her head off a bit in this one but it was the best of the bunch. (sigh)

Oooh goodie! I love it when my DT packs arrive – its like Christmas every month. Trouble is, I’m so overwhelmed by the possibilities that I get is a huge mess with stuff spread everywhere (sigh). Can’t scrap it all fast enough sometimes.
Anyway, here’s a couple I’ve completed. Will probably do a showcase on Ducks in a row and maybe Fancy pants Kraft Kuts/Girl – if I get time? (he he)
This one is my favourite so far.
Just a quickie – the colours were good.
Another fav…and it was pretty quick to put together too. As you can see, I’m running out of AC vinyl letters. Off to do more….
Well, its nearly time for the 2009 Scrapbooking Masters to close. Have you got your entries in???
I just can’t decide whether to enter or not. On one hand, I don’t really expect to win… so why enter? I know, I know, you’ve gotta be in it to win it. Secondly, if I did happen to win a spot, I really don’t have time to be scrapping more than I do now (I’m supposed to be Homeschooling my kids…shhh). And even if I try to scrap at other times, my precious littlest girl, now 6 months old, is quite clingy and its very difficult scrapping with your arms full (lol). I’ve never entered before because of time issues.
Anyway, while I decide, I’ll give you a tiny sneak peak at what I’ve done and if I don’t enter, I’ll post my creations up next week.
Entry 1: Greatest achievement
Entry 2: Mystery page
Entry 3: interesting shape page (not 12×12)
Still being worked on….

at D and M Scrapbooking – grab a bargain. Some of their stock is a little out-dated and they don’t keep their stock numbers up-to-date but I purchased a fair bit just because it was at wholesale price. Worth a sticky beak.
